Ok, I'm showing my ignorance again.... (I didn't know about the brooch thing....) Alice, what is Bl, I know crochet, tatting, seen needlelace (can't tell it from others...), knitted lace, cutwork, drawn work (hardanger?) macrame and the like, but Bl??
Went on a lace day yesterday, for our local group. Got there, with Agnes, realised I'd made a mistake and took around 2 hours work back and put it in again!!! I must be mad! but it would have annoyed me if I hadn't! I suppose it means I'm getting to recognise when I've made mistakes.... (I'll tell tho... Agnes cut her bobbins off and made her bucks or beds a 'practice piece' after the thread broke!) Now I'll get told off!!

That makes me think....I should make a display board that has samples of laces: crochet, tatting, Bl, needlelace, knitted lace, and perhaps even cutwork and drawn work. That would be good for county fair.
