Hello all- I hope to leave next Friday for a trip that will take me to Venice, Dubrovnik, Kotor (Montenegro), Saradne (Albania), Crete (Aghios Nikolaos), Kusadasi (Turkey), Mykonos, and Athens.
I've looked at the LaceFairy site a bit, but would appreciate any suggestions (and warnings) you might have about the textiles. Oddly enough, some of the tours mention the opportunity to buy lace--Dubrovnik is one. Devon's recollection of Greek lace was that it was crochet. I know we've discussed the needle lace and I've seen the Hardanger-like embroidery on the LaceFairy site.
