Hi All, I know you will all be rushing to help - I am wondering what the 'beginners' book on Needlelace is called! I have obtained the Catherine Barley 'Needlelace - Techniques ...' and the first words I saw were '---- this is not a beginners book'! So - could you let me know of any that Catherine wrote before this one! I bought the 'Zele' lace book, on eBay, and it seems to be quite adequate but, in my usual fashion, I'd like to have more than one - to compare the techniques etc.
I am going to be away from home for about three and a half weeks from nest Friday, and hoped to be able to get some needlelace samples done - I may be lucky enough to have the time but, another question. Is the needlelace pillow absolutely necessary? I can understand that the lace may well pull a bit if it isn't done properly, but don't think I have time to acquire one!
