I would definitely recommend sampling your pattern in rayon before 
committing to it. One sort of rayon worked fine for me, and held it's shape, 
but another one had the most wonderful sheen to it and looked fantastic 
while pinned in place. Unfortunately when I had completed it and taken it 
off the pillow it went all limp, and lost the structure of the lace
