I'm not sure what you mean by wheel-shaped. The tombolo is a cylindrical pillow, I guess it's a bolster, that sits in a support. Mine is hollow in the middle, but I don't use it for storing things while I'm working because I turn the pillow horizontally, vertically or even diagonally as the biseta curves and swirls around. It is handy between times, though.
You can see a tombolo in a basket here < http://www.tombolodisegni.it/images/negozio/tomboli/cantu-crine-cesto.jpg> and pictures of the tombolo and stand that I have are here: < http://www.tombolodisegni.it/images/negozio/supporti%20cantu/supporto-cantu-ctda.jpg > < http://www.tombolodisegni.it/images/negozio/supporti%20cantu/supporto-cantu-ctd.jpg > < http://www.tombolodisegni.it/images/negozio/supporti%20cantu/supporto-cantu-c-tom45.jpg > The wooden thing hanging down is for putting behind the pillow to adjust the angle. All four pictures are from this page <http://www.tombolodisegni.it/> but the page is set up in such a way that I couldn't figure out how to link to the page with pillows and stands. You can see more if you click on Negozio and then on Tomboli Merletto a Fuselli. Sr Claire (I have no connection with that site, other than being a satisfied customer of this very nice lady.)
