Hi Lorri I found a link in english for you . It IS in the Alps area .. http://www.queyras.com/index_ete.asp?version_site=4 and here , it's the little red dot on the map of France : http://www.gr58-tour-queyras.com/ a good place for trekking ..... I love those pillows. Françoise Monneret wrote books about the lace and re designed models from old laces she found in attics and cellars. her husband makes those pillows and bobbins, and various carved boxes . Up to now i managed not to buy a box to keep my bobbins but i'm not sure i'll be so wise next time i see them .... :-P if you buy a pillow you can use it . it's just a particularly ornate bolster pillow .
