Dear lacemaking friends, I have generally found that bobbins with an extremely smooth finish require more wraps in the hitch. If there are problems with bobbins falling off the pillow suddenly, generally, it is because the hitch is the wrong direction. If they slowly scoot off, you might need an additional wrap in the hitch.
