Hi all, I've been lurking for a while, but have not made my presence known until now. And, wouldn't you know it, it's because I want something!
I recently began teaching my 12-year-old niece to make lace. For her birthday, I purchased her a pillow and a few bobbins, and she is sharing my books and thread to begin with. Now, her 9-year-old sister has also expressed an interest in learning. So, now the older one is almost ready to move on to projects that will require more bobbins, and the younger one doesn't yet have the tools to get started. I'm hoping that there is someone out there with some used bobbins that they would be willing to sell for a reasonable price, and possibly a pillow, but I assume most people are using all the ones they have (I know I am!)
