Hi lace fans, Thanks to my mother and the Gumnuts in Oz, we have the name of the decoupage boobin maker/decoupager (is that a word?).
Margaret Taunton. And no, it's not a typo for those who remember Margaret Tainton and her fabulous little travelling pillows. 2 different lacemakers in Victoria (but both with Sth African ties). So if anyone else out there has some of her delightful bobbins, that's who did them.
