Has anyone seen or heard of this book?

The Ruins of Lace by Iris Anthony
I have just finished reading a proof copy.  It was very an entertaining book
to read.  Readers should not expect this to be a true and accurate work, but
it's written well enough that lacemakers should enjoy it as a piece of
fiction.
The chapters are rather short and each is written from various
character's point of view...including the lace smuggling dog.
The stories
intertwine subtly during the peak of French history when sumptuary laws were
enforced. Much of the intrigue of lace is included- orphans, convents,
workshops, sales, smuggling and of course a little romance.

It is supposed
to be released this month, but I haven't seen mention of it at my bookshops in
town.

Get a copy!  It's good to see more lace in lit!
