A few weeks ago I asked for some help with Hinojosa lace and what a wonderful reaction I got! Carolina de la Guardia offered to help and gives comments on the scans I send her and has been nothing but kind as well as the others who offered help. I believe the true lovers of lace and lacemaking are these people who offer their help whenever they can without expecting any reward. The joy of passing the skills on to other people seems to be enough for them. The same with Jeri Ames who always gives advice and is now prepared to share her many years' experience with younger people. I hope that I also follow their example when I can and I know that many other people on the list do the same.
