Thank you for the great information, I'm wondered if i could test
that plugin of Laconica soon (COMET or else). Push method is more acceptable
than refresh (this end kills analytics results for ex. and more else as
memory...but still the simple issue).
Just make Dev Team Informed about your COMET plugin. Have you
planned to push it on Dev this month ?

The nice thing is that both ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ support STOMP (Rabbit
with a plugin, but still), so we can switch back and forth if we want.
My experience with ActiveMQ has been that it's a pain in the butt to set
up and configure, so I'd like our software to work for both.

So, I've gotten started on a Comet plugin, which seems to be working OK.
I'll push it to dev once it's finished, later this weekend.
