I like the idea of creating homedirs as soon as possible. Could this perhaps be
added as a feature in one of the next releases? So when creating new user,
instead of selecting only one you could select multiple servers, and then just
run lamdaemon for all those servers. The lamdaemon testing is already set up
properly to check any of defined servers, and since LDAP replication is
(usually) very fast, the user data will always be available before the
lamdaemon starts.
