Hello Roland, hello everyone,

I'm not sure if I missed something, but I was trying to configure our DHCP
Server using LAM to perform DDNS updates.

So I use the "DDNS" tab under the DHCP module and entered the
- DNS Server IP
- Forward Zone
- Reverse Zone

When I restart my DHCP server with "rcdhcpd restart", it tells me, that there
is an error with the zone lines, as they contain "key DHCP_UPDATER;", which is
not defined.

First of all, our DNS server is protected with a firewall and uses IP based
rules to grant access, thus we don't need the "key DHCP_UPDATER;" line at all
since we dont use a key.

And second, there should be an interface on LAM (e.g. on the DDNS tab) to
- enable / disable the key line per zone
- define the name of the key (now it is fixed as "DHCP_UPDATER") for each zone
(currently takes the same value for all zones)
- define the key algorithm per zone
- define the key itself (or even generate it with a button) per zone

What algorithms are available and how the key is generated, i don't know as we
dont use it. But that should be available from the DHCPD manpage I guess.

So, as I said, I'm not sure if I maybe overlooked this functionality
somewhere? If not, I can file a feature request/bug report for the DHCP
module.

Best regards,
Joschi Brauchle
