I've had issues on my Drupal website with spambots that use valid email accounts, but that hopefully won't be a big issue here.
I have another question though: I've been setting up the user self-registration stuff and I've pretty much got it up and running, but something peculiar is happening. It looks to me like the user account gets set up okay, but it doesn't do any of the Posix user stuff (even though I have that part set up in the default user profile. I've even got lamdaemon set up and I can go and create the user directory manually via the users tab, but none of this stuff gets set up during self-registration (and I do have the "Create home directory" option checked for that profile). In addition, when I go to the users tab, the user that is set up via self-registration doesn't have a UID number or GID number indicative of a Posix account (whereas the other users do). Is there anything else that I need to do in order to get the Posix account creation to work properly? TIA, Paul PS.
