I didn't use ldaps. Now is working, I can modify password from LAM but I sill have the same error message on self-service. I check the box "use for all operations" with the user I bind with ( he is domain admin )

Hi Benoit,

do you use a secure LDAP connection with "ldaps://"? This is required for password changes. You can check the server URL in your LAM server profile. Other reasons can be that the user is not allowed to change his password (yet).

Best regards

    Hi,

    I use LAM pro 5.4

I try to setup the self-service. I can modify all the field
without any error but when I try to change password I always have
    this error:

     ldap_modify: Constraint violation (19) additional info: 0000052D:
    AtrErr: DSID-03191083, #1: 0: 0000052D: DSID-03191083, problem
    1005 (CONSTRAINT_ATT_TYPE), data 0, Att 9005a (unicodePwd)

My first impression was the password is too simple or something
like that so I try a long and hard password with a random gen tool
and it still shows me the same error msg. Anyway I tried to remove
all the domain policy regarding password.

I made the LAM machine join the domain and I can see it in computers.

Someone has a clue about what is going on ?
