If I logon to a PC on the domain with the same user and do ctrl+atl+del
change password is working fine. I check the box "use for all operations"
What you want more to be able to spot the problem ?
is not the first time I setup something like that. I have SOGo for my
mail and I can change the password from the webgui from SOGo but not
from LAM. I need LAM for different reasons is not everyone in AD who
have an email so I need both systems to work with my AD.

Hi Benoit,
your users seem to be not allowed to change the attributes that you
selected in self service profile. This needs to be configured on
server side. You can also keep doing the changes with an admin user.
Best regards

I didn't use ldaps. Now is working, I can modify password from LAM
but I sill have the same error message on self-service. I check
the box "use for all operations" with the user I bind with ( he is
domain admin )

Hi Benoit,
do you use a secure LDAP connection with "ldaps://"? This is
required for password changes. You can check the server URL in
your LAM server profile.
Other reasons can be that the user is not allowed to change his
password (yet).
Best regards

Hi,
I use LAM pro 5.4
I try to setup the self-service. I can modify all the field
without any error but when I try to change password I always
have this error:
ldap_modify: Constraint violation (19) additional info:
0000052D: AtrErr: DSID-03191083, #1: 0: 0000052D:
DSID-03191083, problem 1005 (CONSTRAINT_ATT_TYPE), data 0,
Att 9005a (unicodePwd)
My first impression was the password is too simple or
something like that so I try a long and hard password with a
random gen tool and it still shows me the same error msg.
Anyway I tried to remove all the domain policy regarding
password.
I made the LAM machine join the domain and I can see it in
computers.
Someone has a clue about what is going on ?
