can you provide more details? The issue should be fixed for both jobs.
Checked the code and both use the same mail sending logic.

Perhaps the subject should become mandatory, or
passwordExpirationJob.inc could take into account that the subject
could be empty, instead of generating this Undefined index error.
Anyway, it seems to be purely cosmetic, as the notifications *are*
sent, and everything seems to work as expected.
