As usual, I'd like the approval of an expert who is familiar with the
situation on the ground as early as possible.

I know that there are modern Aramaic languages spoken in Syria and Iraq, as
well as in the diaspora in other countries, I know that they are written in
the Syriac alphabet, and used for education and media despite the small
number of speakers. So they might be eligible.

However, I don't know how different they are from the language of the
Aramaic Wikipedia we currently have ( arc.wikipedia.org ), especially in
their written form, and this is a rather important point.

So we need an expert.
