FYI, there is some effort to revitalise this language. The ethnologue.com numbers may be outdated as there is even a magazine published four times a year : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ainu_Times Still "on hold" is probably (and sadly) the way to go. Cdlt, ~nicolas
