That POS is correct, but it is not useful in most cases. As a noun, ‘are’ is obsolete. I suggest that by default, LT supplies only modern POS. An option lets a user specify obsolete POS. (My copy of the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary gives 2 meanings for ‘are’ as a noun: 1. [obsolete term] The “name of the note A in Aretino’s 1st, 4th, and 7th hexacords, in which it coincided with the second lowest note, sung to the syllable re.” 2.
