Hi, the issue has to do with libreoffice (and possibly openoffice) UNO Runtime. The native code creates or use a native thread to call the java code, but this thread has no context classloader and can not find the EditorKit class for the JTextPane.
I will submit an one-line patch that will fix this issue at least for the Linux version.
