A side effect of this might be that people don't get that they have to press the "Check text" button, as they think the check happens automatically (on-the-fly while typing). But maybe we should just accept that. Also, there's currently a popup error message if the API server is down (happens sometimes). This should not be a popup, as we'd show it to everyone who enters the page.
