That's because we consider the whole text to be Tamil in the stand-alone version. This will be tricky to solve, as there are cases where languages are actually mixed (not just technically, because of quote characters) and it's correct to call LT more than once in those cases. Also, I don't see how LT can solve this without the help of LO.
