I agree with Andry. In Transifex, we can add comment
about the strings. Can this be done?  It would help translators.

For French for example, I was not sure how to translate
"%d (last %s)" either, as "last" can be "dernier", "dernière°,
°derniers° or °dernières" depending on the gender and/or
plural vs singular.
