Thanks Jaume.

I am working on these rules and have permission from the copyright owner to put
the content of the book into a set of rules in LanguageTool.

I plan to put the rules into LT as a set. Possibly, there will be overlap with
other EN rules.

Regards,

Mike

Subject: ideas for English rules

Hi,

This document can provide ideas for new English rules:

"Misused English words and expressions in EU publications" [1]

Some rules should be quite straightforward:
* with the aim to (do) > with the aim of (doing)

* competences > powers, jurisdiction

* Concerning.../ For what concerns... > with regard to, in respect of, in terms
of [or eliminate]

Some seem already implemented:
* allow to take > make it possible to take, allow us to take

Others will cause probably false alarms, if they are not implemented carefully:
* assist at > attend, be present at

Regards,
Jaume Ortolà

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
