Cecilia, I've been running the most recent version (0.5) of iwi on Nevada and version 0.3 on Solaris 10 Update 3. I have Nevada on slice 3 of a 2nd hard disk in the T43p. To upgrade, I boot the DVD on a USB/2 connected DVD writer (Plextor 716UF). When given the option I choose upgrade and then the Solaris 11 choice. That "upgrades" the version on slice 3 - now at snv_61. With earlier upgrades I just ran the upgrade and things already working (wifi) just kept working. This time it didn't. I'm now connected via a wire and the bge0 interface. I use inetmenu to manage the connections. Before sending this, I ran logadm to clean up messages. Then I used inetmenu to deconfigure bge0. I then tried to enable iwi0 with a defined and previously working configuration (RSG-b). That failed so I tried running wificonfig to scan which also failed. I then brought bge0 back up so I could send this. cut from a window: [t43p:/]# inetmenu -t -i bge0 Select a profile : 1) Deconfigure 2) Static-Address 3) DHCP 4) DHCP-NoNIS #? 1 Interface: bge0 Deconfigured.
