Hello

I just got a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300D-152, unfortunately it wont run past
the Kernel banner.
Any ideas on what I can do to trouble shoot this?

When booting from the snv 105 DVD, it will.
Display the GRUB menu.
I select Solaris Express.
It loads the kernel ('prints the dots '.')
Then display the kernel banner
--
SunOS Release 5-11 Version snv_105 64-bit
Copyright ....
Use is sibject to licesne terms

The DVD spins down, that is it, the Nothing else happens.

I tired booting the Sol10u6 on the laptop. It will load the kernel and start
the jumpstart process.
It complains about, some thing about, not being able to power up the CPU.

Ubuntu 8.10 Live runs fine on it.
Gentoo install fine on it as well(though I haven't gotten the ati-drivers
working yet).

I would appreciate any hints on how to proceed, trying to trouble shoot
this.

 Have a nice day

  Henry
