Hi, I just installed opensolaris 2008.05 on my PC and started using it. Then I faced the wifi issue (wifi doesn't work). My PC has the Atheros AR242x, and scanpci shows the following information.
pci bus 0x0014 cardnum 0x00 function 0x00: vendor 0x168c device 0x001c Atheros Communications, Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter I'm wondering if this chip matches "PCI168c,1c" described on the wifi card list since the vendor and device ids are the same, but this is AR242x not AR5424. PCI168c,1c (AR5424) Anybody knows if it's supported? If it's not, is there a plan to support it soon? This message posted from opensolaris.org
