Hello all I'm having a problem getting the wireless working on my system. It has been a few 4AM nights lately working on this, and i'm about ready to throw in the towel.
My setup: Dell M6300 Solaris Nevada x86 express devel edition Wireless chipset -> BCM4311 (0x14e4, 0x4311) I have been following the process to create NDIS drivers. I have done it so many times I could do it in my sleep at this point. Every time I get to the part to enter: add_drv -i '"pci14e4,4311"' bcmndis The system does a kernel dump and reboots. I have tried the newest .sys and .inf files from the Dell website, as well as the ones that the opensolaris page recommendeds from the HP site. I have tried both the 32-bit and 64-bit drivers. --No luck-- This has been quite a learning experience! Any thoughts from the community? --Kerry This message posted from opensolaris.org
