Thank you for that. It can be a bit confusing working out all the names for
Solaris! On my Blade 2000 I'm running the standard release (Solaris 10 update
4), so I know where I am with the Blade. But on the x86 laptop there are
clearly advantages to having a later version, but on these other versions, its
a bit more confusing what people refer to.

It is loaded:

# /usr/sbin/modinfo | grep audio
157 fffffffff7cf2000 7940 62 1 audiohd (HD Audio Driver1.11)
159 fffffffff7d16000 3c08 - 1 audiosup (Audio Device Support 1.24)
227 fffffffff83e1000 3ab8 242 1 lx_audio (linux audio driver 'lx_audio' 1)

I assume I would need to use modunload, then copy the two files mentioned
above, then use modload.

According to my download manager I should have the final part downloaded in
about an hour. I'll then copy the binaries off of there.

Thank you for that.

BTW, I did get a response from Sony about the audio chip, telling me the
SigmaTel part number. I contacted SigmaTel to find some information, but
apparently they have sold the PC audio business to IDT (http://www.idt.com/). I
asked them for some information, but got no reply. They actually have a lot of
technical data on their web site, but my attempts to find out the IDT number of
my SigmaTel chip were not successful. So those involved in writing the drivers
might like to take a look there, if they were not already aware of it (which I
guess they were).
