Hi Alexander, Some vendors make it difficult to replace wireless mini-PCI cards in their laptops. I've heard about issues with IBM ThinkPads, but not HP laptops (that's what you have, right?). It sounds like your card doesn't get properly detected by Solaris. It would be interesting to know if other operating systems are able to recognize and drive your card.
