So i got a minipci card and installed in my laptop running solaris express b 24 I tried installing the ath drivers from http://opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/ath/ but sadly |prtconf -vp returns nothing about | |pci168c However, /usr/bin/X11/scanpci returns usually this: pci bus 0x0000 cardnum 0x05 function 0x00: vendor 0x168c device 0x0013 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC And i say usually because if i rerun the command i sometimes get: pci bus 0x0000 cardnum 0x05 function 0x00: vendor 0x168c device 0x0013 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC pci bus 0x0000 cardnum 0x05 function 0x01: vendor 0x168c device 0x0013 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC And in very rare occasions i get: And also sometimes i don't get anything for atheros... Don't know how trustworthy is the scanpci, but the fact is that i can't plumb the card and so, i can't use it.... Can someone guide me in getting this card to work? Thanks so much in advance! |
