Some of these mini-PCI cards are a PCMCIA card with a PCI to PCMCIA bridge packaged into mini-PCI form factor, then the up-coming Solaris pcwl driver should work on it. The pcwl driver has already been ready. And will be released to OpenSolaris in the near future.
Some newer laptops have PCI cards based on Prism 2.5 chipsets. Then currently there is no Solaris driver for it.
