Woo hoo! I'm posting this message after installing the cardbus bridge and then the pcwl drivers on Dell C840 running s10u1. It worked perfectly attaching to a D-LINK DI-524. Though, the pcwl HOWTO might have been easier if it mentioned the bridge drivers. Still, it was pretty easy.
