Can it boot up with '-B acpi-user-options=2'? If it can, this issue may be a dup of: 6907022 acpica: System (Fujitsu ESPRIMO) hard hangs during boot after live-upgrade to snv_129 (it's integrated in b131 already)
If it can't, pls help to try below to narrow it down further. boot with "-B intel-iommu=no -kdv": [0]> prom_debug/W 1 [0]> ::bp acpica`acpica_init [0]> ::bp pci_autoconfig`pci_enumerate [0]> ::bp isa`isa_attach [0]> post_startup_cpu_fixups:b [0]> vfs_mountroot:b Then pls repeatedly do [0]> :c to see what breakpoint we can reach before it hangs. Pls also post the last boot messages when it hangs. Thanks, Kerry Gary Mills wrote: >> How was the usb flash boot device installed? Using >> the >> LiveCD, on that Acer AS3810T laptop?
