Hi,

I am proud to report that nearly everything works with the ibook G4 from
July 2005 (the date is an important detail!).

i didn't test modem, bluetooth and external vga, yet.

Because there was some changes in the new model with kernel 2.6.12
touchpad, sound and suspend-to-ram. I got the sources from kernel.org
and built with the config from 2.6.12-9-powerpc a kernel 2.6.14-rc4.

Should also work with the powerbooks from feb-2005. I hope Ben Collins
will put a official kernel image on breezy-backports as soon kernel
2.6.14 is released.

Also airport express didn't work, but there is now a project to make a
native linux driver: http://bcm43xx.berlios.de/

I'm in contact with Aaron Waite and will create a summary in the wiki.

Regards,

Keywan
