The question isn't really meaningful. Model-specific support happens in the core distribution - ie, below KDE or Gnome. Either Kubuntu supports a specific piece of laptop functionality (such as hotkeys) or it doesn't, but that doesn't require it to be tested on every machine. > I would hope those that have official laptops would test Kubuntu as well as > Ubuntu during the next release schedule.
