Hi all,

My battery life is for about 4-5 hours in windows, under acceptable
working conditions on my x60. Pushing power saving to the max I get more
than 6 hours from my battery, which is a four cell(4 cell). The exact
specification of my x60 model can be found here
www.williambrownstreet.net/Linux

Under Linux, Ubuntu 6.06 dapper Drake, with kernel 2.16.25-686. I get
only around 2 hours, which is less than 50 % from the possible(see
windows).

My question is what is your battery life, and what can be done to
improve this. Til now I have no really tried to do anything(scaling CPU,
killing daemons, scaling graphic chip...).

Have a nice day

Greetings
Thierry NICOLA
