I've got an app (the laszlo explorer, actually) that works just right in swf7 and swf8, and even works in dhtml when debug=true. When debug=false, though, the navigation menu (most of the app, IOW) doesn't appear.
I remember there's some lore about what usually causes problems only when not debugging. Anybody remember?
