Hi,

In recent weeks, we've had some confusion over what branch actually contains a fix since the field "Fix Version/s" was being used to mean "where should I fix it"
and "where I actually fixed it".

Going forward "Fix Version/s" means "WHERE I SHOULD FIX THIS". (We had to keep
it this way due to built-in JIRA reports.)

To clarify things, we've created a *new* field "Actually Fixed In". When you fix a bug, use this new field and select (one or more) versions containing the fix. "
Actually Fixed In" means "WHERE I ACTUALLY FIXED THIS".

For example, you fix a bug in trunk for 4.5, but it also needs to be merged for inclusion in 4.4. This allows you to set the "Actually Fixed In" field to "4.4 and 4.5".

We have REMOVED the "Fixed in Branch" field, since it didn't allow multiple selections.

Sorry about the mass emails from JIRA you may have received as part of this
change. Please ignore them.

If you have any questions - please don't hesitate to send them.

Thanks,
Amy
