In the absence of a complete graphical IDE, I was thinking of a diagramming
tool such as visio, dia or gliffy. It would need a stencil, sheet, or symbol
set that contains the basic laszlo components. For a noob, it would be a great
way to create the initial layout of an application design.

I guess another option for this level of work is to use the IDE from another
product. For example, do initial mock-ups in VB (icky).

Any ideas or other thoughts on a good way to get from nothing to a basic
application design layout?
