Hi

I am glad some people are taking this initiative. I have been working with
laszlo for 4 years now and I am getting pretty efficient with coding by text
editors, however if an IDE came along I would likely use it provided that it
had the capability of adding your own components. Anyone who has been coding
OL has there own set of sweet "common" classes for there work environment
and there is nothing more useless then an IDE which does not allow you to
add these classes into it (and it should occur pretty transparently). Based
on this the most logical IDE would be laszlo itself. The difficulty with
this is the unloading and loading of classes as you build / modify them and
(of course) dealing with the source code on the server would be a cute trick
too. But the benefit to all this would be your developers wont need tricked
out PC's - you could have them all point to one kick ass server.

Anyways just some random thoughts..
