Alex,
That feature hasn't been added, to my knowledge, although it may work
in the pre-release SWF9 builds, since much of the underlying code has
changed.
I'm forwarding this to the OpenLaszlo mailing lists to see if anyone
knows of a solution for you.

SWF is supported as a resource type, but with the limitation that
the SWF contain only art and animation -- no scripting. This is not
currently enforced, but may be in the future.
Loading a Laszlo-generated SWF into another SWF is not supported.
