Do I see this correct? http://www.openlaszlo.org/lps4.9/docs/developers/proxied.html
The data providing server must have a file that states that my server is allowed to pull data from it. This is the ONLY way for SOLO Apps to get foreign data (other than on server hosting the SOLO APP = Web Server no LPS or Tomcat) In my case then FIREFOX is having a workaround that it still gets the .jpegs Pix from the "data server" whereas it does not also do it for my xml request to this very same but other "data server?!" Hmm.. Duke2010 PS: Is there a better way to make a "SOLO Proxy HTTP Server" than having cron to wget the files to my APP server in order to use it from there in my APP for any Browser that may not be so kind offering some workarounds?! -- Sent from Ubuntu Duke2010 wrote: See below in response. > > > > Max Carlson wrote: > > The Flash security policy is to only allow requests to the same server > > the swf was loaded from.
