I was just wondering if there is any documentation around on how to extend
LaTeX2HTML-98.1p1? I've read the section in the documentation, but it
doesn't seem to explain how the whole system works, aside from
&process_commands_in_latex and &ignore_commands.

I'm writing a .perl file to go with a document class I have created, and
I'd like to be able to have my own custom translations. I imagine that's
done with the &do_cmd_[insert_cmd_name_here], but I'd also like to have
LaTeX2HTML do some of the sub-translations. I imagine that's done with
&translate_command. But how does this all work? Is there any docs
anywhere? Or am I just going to have to keep scouring through the already
written .perl files, and check through the LaTeX2HTML code?

Thanks very much for any help and suggestions you can come up with!
