I have looked to see whether 98 p4 solves some of my problems I have
been having (using a lot of ams-latex I need as new a version as possible).
p4 is a step forward, but I found a few problems (there are more). I use
the options -no_math -html_version 3.2,math

1- defining \be to be \[ and \ee to be \] in the preamble gives
   weird results when \be and \ee are used (solution: write \begin{equation*}
   \end{equation*} in document. Not ideal, but OK for time being.
2- \; is often not recognised as a spacing symbol. I use \quad and \qquad
   instead.
3- The construct ......
\qquad
f(x)=1
......
gets converted to \qquadf(x) somewere along the line. Solution: add a space
behind \qquad.
4- The construction \begin{cases} ... \end{cases} generates a correct image,
but the image is not included in index.html. I haven't a clue why, and don't
like editing by hand.

Anyway, as said p4 is a big step forward!
