Hi!

I'm using UNIX and haven't had any executing problems before.
Now I would like to translate a *.tex file placed in another
user's subdirectory.

There is no problem to read and write this file, because
the user sets the necessary access bits - only the x bit
in some upper directories.

But I got the following error messages when executing
l2h in that directory:

  kowallik@lisa> /usr/local/latex2html/user/latex2html dtest.tex
  pwd: cannot determine current directory!
  'pwd' failed (out of memory?)

A pwd works fine!

To change to my directory dosen't work also:

  [no errors before]

Any ideas?
