Hi, We are trying to solve the following problem - build a brief summary of the paper from tex file. We need title, abstract and a list of pictures with their captions. Perhaps references. I started to write perl script to do that, but quickly realied that latex2html should do much better job on it. So to a certain extent we would like latex2html to do less things so to say. No text, tables or anything, just title, abstract and pictures. Questions: 1. Is Latex2Html appropriate tool for that? 2. Are there some magic switches for that? 3. I think I'm brave enough to hack the code, what would be the best strategy in this case? Maybe there is some driver routine to modify? 4. Are there other (perhaps better) tools for this problem?
