Hi Jens,

using now CVS for over a year as a contributer, I have only seen three
times a notice that an other developer commited to the repository. But
this is done on a per file basis. The delay is within seconds. Anonymous
user's can only update but never commit.

An anonymous user update should not result in any delay for the developers
updates and commit's. Developers have read/write access and anonymous
users have only read access. IIRC the CVS server at Darmstadt was the
bottleneck.

Here is my .cvspass file (own password's crypted by hand)

:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/repository Apassword
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs A
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/local/cvsroot A:0Z,I dZ
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/htdig/cvs A:bu'?h
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot Ay=0=h<Z
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/repository Apassword
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/latex2html/cvs
A
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/cvs/cvsroot AIbdZ,
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/repo/OpenLDAP A#:d=*.9}

I hope this is enough to setup an anonymous CVS account at the new site
and announce it.
